My latest dark poetry collection NO MERCY (Crystal Lake Publishing, June 2017) reviewed by Judi Comeau at The Tomb of Dark Delight: "Bram Stoker Award winning author Alessandro Manzetti’s most recent poetry collection is centered upon in the famous—and infamous—hard-drinking, hard-drugging blues legend Janis Joplin. Joplin, who lived a short, incandescent life that is incandescently recalled here in searing language that brings to life the sadness and brilliance of a sad and tortured soul whose ragged moans of pain and anger became the centerpiece of a generation.
